My experiences with horses have taught me a lot about handling emotions and experiencing life. Horses do not really hang on to baggage like we humans do. Maybe it is because they have shorter lives, have more to do, or merely have bigger problems throughout the day. They seem to be pretty peaceful with the basics; food, water, safety, companionship.
The horses in my life have been some of my greatest teachers. When I have dropped issues which did not serve me, moved on from things which were not going to change, or gave myself a time limit for feeling sad, angry, or frustrated, things in my life changed for the better. This blog is about the profound lessons our horses have for us. I hope you enjoy it.
